Model policy 19 - Paternity leave

Employees who share  responsibility for bringing up a biological or adopted child with another person could be entitled to paternity leave and pay. It may be worth reviewing this alongside our Shared Parental Leave policy.

This policy has been updated to reflect the  changes to the law on paternity leave implemented under the Paternity Leave (Amendment) Regulations 2024 on 7^th April 2024.
