What is The REC Academy?
The REC Academy is a Learning Management System, hosting online training courses focused on the knowledge, skills, behaviours and professional standards that recruiters need.
Who is the training for?
The courses have been mapped against key career stages – New Recruiters, Experienced Recruiters, Recruitment Managers and Recruitment Leaders
The courses are also mapped against the core knowledge, skills, behaviours and professional standards to make it easy to navigate.
How is the training delivered?
The courses are a mixture of live presenters, filmed delivering training courses, seminars or other training content. This content is edited into bite-sized learning and augmented with AI.
The AI element is all scripted by recruitment professionals and developed into engaging learning modules.
Who has developed the content?
The content has been developed with Mike Walmsley of Recruitment Training Ltd. Mike has been a thought leader in the recruitment industry for over 20 years. Formerly a £1M biller, he was one of the initial drivers of the international recruitment group, Parker Bridge, before subsequently becoming Managing Director and developing recruitment training that helped him to mastermind a twenty-fold growth in staff size and financial turnover.
His encyclopedic knowledge of recruitment techniques coupled with a sharp and innovative mind, has led him to being described as the original SuperBiller™ – and he now presents to packed recruitment audiences around the world at the largest recruitment trade associations.
Is the content Quality Assured?
Yes, as well as a rigorous QA process carried out by the Recruitment Training team as part of the course development process, all of the content has been reviewed by REC colleagues, all of whom have a recruiting background.
