The last 12+ months have been some of the hardest for all of us. Our team at the REC have been working harder than ever to support recruiters through the toughest of times – we’ve had our highest ever volume of calls and emails, and an insanely busy meeting schedule working with Government. Sometimes, working from home has really felt like living at work for our team. As we (hopefully) come out the other side, we wanted to say thank you to the team for their work over the past year – which has gone above and beyond in so many ways. So we have designated Friday, 30 April as an REC all staff additional holiday. It means our operations will be closed that day and we’re telling you now so you have time to plan for it too. We have chosen a day likely to cause minimal disruption to our customers and by having an official day off, it ensures we’re experiencing the time off together, with less temptation to check in on work. We’ll be open as normal again after the bank holiday, on 4 May.
