Labour Market Tracker
Research
REC’s Labour Market Tracker is a tool to help recruiters, businesses and policymakers see how the jobs market is evolving. It aims to help you spot signs of growth through job vacancy data from all local areas and occupations across the UK.
Labour Market Tracker is the successor to our Jobs Recovery Tracker, which we first launched in April 2020 - but is also created by using the robust job postings data from our research partner, Lightcast.
Launched in March 2022, Labour Market Tracker provided better data on job postings and helped identify trends during the recovery phase from COVID.
For now, the Labour Market Tracker continues to look at job postings data across the UK, providing headline figures for the whole country, plus the biggest changes in postings for occupations and local areas. We intend to broaden this in the following months to include data on wage growth, skills and sectoral breakdown.
