The Science and Technology (Lords) Select Committee recently launched a call for evidence on people and skills in UK science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

As well as submitting written evidence, the REC is giving oral evidence as part of this inquiry on Tuesday 13 September. The inquiry is looking into whether the UK has a sufficiently skilled workforce to become a “science and technology superpower”, and what policies can be done to develop and retain skills in the UK workforce.

The REC submitted its written response on 6 September, you can read the full response here.
