REC seeks urgent clarity on access to Covid-19 vaccination for frontline healthcare agency workers

The REC has written to the Minister of State for Social Care, Helen Whately MP, to seek assurance that all NHS Trusts will prioritise agency staff alongside other frontline NHS workers, so they can all receive vaccination promptly.

It comes after REC members reported that agency workers are not being included in lists to receive the vaccine. The REC is not aware of any DHSC guidance on how agency workers - both in NHS Trusts or care homes - will be provided with the vaccine.
