REC appoints new Chair of Advisory Council

The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Alyx Peters as the first Chair of its Advisory Council. She will lead the Advisory Council in supporting the REC’s Board and leadership staff.

The REC’s Advisory Council was created to support the Board by inputting on strategy, policy and the direction of the organisation. The Advisory Council meets twice a year and its members bring valuable expertise, knowledge and understanding of their specialist sectors and regions to the REC’s governance structure.

Alyx Peters has been working in recruitment since 2001 and is currently the CEO of Network Recruitment Wales. She is also the Managing Director of MPS Healthcare and SET Recruitment.

Sarah Thewlis, Chair of the REC Board and Managing Director at Thewlis Graham Associates, said:
