David has been a stalwart of the jobs industry for more than 20 years, helping more than 20,000 people find work across the United Kingdom.
Among a list of successes, David has managed hundreds of recruitment programmes for big organisations in Wessex, including recruiting 1,500 people in Weymouth and Portland for the 2012 Olympics.
Arguably, some of his greatest work has come in the past five years, where he oversaw 90 per cent of large-scale recruitments in Dorset, filling 760 new jobs in the retail sector.
Head of the IRP Richard Charnock says the institute is proud to call David McArthur one of its own.
"The institute recognised David’s achievements last year by awarding him an honorary fellowship. It is testament to David’s exemplary work in the field of employment that he should be invested with an MBE today," he said.
David is a higher executive officer at Bournemouth's Jobcentre Plus, and has been with the organisation since 1992.
