Our industry is bigger than ever before. Up 9% on the previous period, the value of our industry is now £35.1 billion. That’s bigger than the food and beverage industry, and the advertising and market research industry.

We’re growing, and it’s more important than ever to show you can keep up.

That’s where our Career Routeway comes in.

Here are four ways you can use it to help you on your career journey:

1. Study for one of our recognised recruitment qualifications

Our IRP qualifications are awarded by the REC and have been designed with industry consultation to make sure they contain everything you need. Whether it’s the GCSE standard Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing, or the degree standard Level 5 Diploma in Recruitment Leadership, our qualifications support you throughout your entire career.

2. Could an apprenticeship in recruitment be your future?

With the government's commitment to achieve three million apprenticeship starts by 2020, and the development of the new trailblazer apprenticeships in 2017, if you’re just entering the industry, or even if you have some experience, becoming an apprentice is a great way to learn, earn and set yourself up for career success.

3. Stay up-to-date by using our continuing professional development evaluation.

Our online CPD evaluation helps you be the best recruiter you can be. You'll answer 30 multiple choice questions, generated based on your membership level, the market you work in and whether you hold any of our qualifications. It's a way for you to make sure you're up-to-date on everything you need to know about the industry.

4. Download your relevant IRP Professional Guide.

We’ve designed these guides to be easy two page documents you can use to support your learning and in your everyday life as a recruiter. From how to write job ads, to why branding is so important, we’ve got you covered.

It’s a simple way to map out your career path. We support you from the beginning, all the way through.

Just place yourself along the routeway to see what we have on offer to support you.
