According to the latest KPMG and REC UK Report on Jobs survey, compiled by S&P Global, permanent staff placements were declining again in July. And though companies continued to raise permanent staff salaries despite making fewer appointments, this continued decline in permanent staff placements extends the current downturn the industry has been experiencing to nearly two years.
