#TREC2017 Provides Members with the Perfect Opportunity to Engage and Listen to Their Clients
Advice for employers
June sees the arrival of the Talent, Recruitment & Employment Conference (TREC) on 21 June – the REC’s national conference and flagship event for the Good Recruitment Campaign.
It’s clear that we need to champion good recruitment in all its guises. As professional advisors, we should be able to engage and educate our clients in areas such as diversity, employer branding and the candidate experience.
We should reposition our industry and move away from just being providers of people, to being strategic workforce solution experts. If we want to increase our margins, then we need to provide more value.
The Good Recruitment Campaign now has more than 230 signatories. These organisations employ more than 2 million people and include household names like John Lewis, Kellogg's, PepsiCo and Santander.
The opportunity for REC members to use the campaign to promote good recruitment to their clients seems to be taking off. Why not get your consultants briefed so they are able to talk about the campaign and the business benefits to your clients?
TREC on 21 June is a chance to listen and engage with more than 200 clients as they talk about the talent issues that they are facing every day. If you want to provide creative solutions to your clients’ needs, there can be no better place to do this than at TREC.
The REC will be launching new research at the conference on the cost to organisations of getting recruitment wrong. This data and insight will be critical for members in convincing employers to improve the candidate experience and do it right first time, every time.
If you want to keep up to speed with all things recruitment then follow me on Twitter @kevingreenrec and you can book your place at TREC 2017 for £249 + VAT by visiting www.rec.uk.com/trec2017.
