Founded in 2009, The Challenge’s vision is a more integrated society where there is understanding and appreciation of each other’s differences. Our mission is to design and deliver programmes that bring different people together to develop their confidence and skills in understanding and connecting with others. Our programmes are:
- National Citizen Service (NCS): giving young people opportunities for personal development and social action.
- HeadStart,:enabling young people to volunteer in their community, inspired by a guaranteed job interview.
- Step Forward: a socially mixed apprenticeship programme with diverse employment opportunities
