Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions Limited is Europe’s largest independent engine remanufacturer and assembler, supplying OE manufacturers such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Volvo, Aston Martin and JCB.
Autocraft has grown to be a leading provider of engine related manufacturing and engineering services. We employ over 200 people at the 56,000sqm facility in Grantham, Lincolnshire in the UK, and our turnover has trebled in the past 7 years. During this time we have invested over £7m in state-of-the-art technologies such as PTWA/RSW cylinder bore spray coatings. We are also implementing ‘Industry 4.0’ techniques in our engine build processes and throughout the company.
We produce over 20,000 engines each year, with 75% of our engines and automotive component parts being exported outside of the UK to the global market.
The company was formed in the late 1970s and previous names include: South East Lincs Engineering, Autocraft Industries and ATC Drivetrain.
During the past 40 years, in excess of 350,000 new and remanufactured engines have been produced and supplied on behalf of OEMs. More than 500,000 new machined engine and drivetrain components have been manufactured.
